Our story

The story of Varietex Media Group begins in 2019 , in [Elda/Alicante], when Héctor Ortega decided to found a digital publishing house with a very specific objective: to give a voice to professionals in defense, security and health through their memoirs and testimonies.

What began as an independent and almost artisanal project soon began to grow, driven by the passion to share real stories and by the trust of thousands of readers.

Timeline

  • 2019 – Varietex Foundation
    The digital publishing house is born with the publication of the first ebooks specializing in defense and security.

  • 2020 – First consolidated catalog
    Varietex expands its collections and begins publishing stories by healthcare professionals, becoming a unique space in Spain for this type of work.

  • 2021 – Creation of Varietex Spain
    The first official division is established under the Varietex España brand, focused on the production and sale of ebooks nationwide.

  • 2022 – International Expansion
    With the creation of Varietex USA , the publisher is taking the leap into other markets, bringing its books closer to Spanish-speaking readers in America and exploring publishing in English.

  • 2023 – New lines and projects are born
    VXNoticias , a news portal specializing in defense, security, and healthcare, is launched. Additionally, development begins on the future Varietex Life line, focused on relationships, personal development, and other complementary genres.

  • 2024 – Recognition and consolidation
    With over 40 ebooks published and thousands of copies sold, Varietex Media Group is beginning to be recognized as a publishing project with great potential.

  • 2025 – Multimedia Expansion
    Varietex begins its roadmap towards audiovisual projects, documentaries and video games, with the aim of becoming an internationally renowned publishing and multimedia group .
